Mel and Brooke first met Bruce in 1996 when they attended a class on Feng Shui offered by the UC Berkeley extension program. Brooke says “Bruce was the professor. We had to leave early to catch our plane back to Medford, so I walked up to him and gave him my business card and said, Help! Can you come to Oregon?” He arrived the next month, and has worked with the Ashlands on various projects ever since. “Bruce is a rare talent. Of Portuguese decent, and raised in Hawaii, he possesses a fun spirit of design that is both respectful and practical. We are fortunate to have his dedication to this assignment”.
